The Lazy Way Out

I expect that many people who are familar with Final Fantasy games will understand this strip right away.

But for those who aren't, I'll briefly explain... Both of these two appeared in two different Final Fantasy games. In the first game, they were both playable characters, but in the second of the two games they both appeared, you could not play the brunette. She appeared in the game however, and they claimed she was pregnant in the story. ...but the point of the joke is that they used the same 3d model from the first game for her, which obviously didn't look pregnant. She was even pregnant enough to have the child during the game.

I also sort of took a lazy way out with this, as I clearly just drew Lulu once, and just copied and pasted her into panels with Rikku. I think it helped the joke in a way. If they were not completely identical it wouldn't be as funny.

I drew Rikku in the three most important outfits she has worn in the two different FF games she appeared. Her outfit from Final Fantasy X, her main outfit (she had many) from Final Fantasy X-2, and the wetsuit she wore for a while at the beginning of Final Fantasy X.
