Yeah, after the many comments I should replace the figure to the right. It's the brunette removing her shirt with her back towards the redhead. You're seeing her back and the curve of her right breast. ...although it wasn't as clever a shot as I thought, and it's too zoomed in.
Heh. I guess if it'd been done in a style you haven't been using for your Pulse comics all these years (MAN, how many years has it been? I swear I started seeing Pulse in purple spandex and cyborg armor in, like, 2006!) then maybe ribcage or some other anatomy would show that would've made that clearer Now that you've said that, I went and saw the other comments of confusion...
I figured roommates, especially female roommates who have known each other since grade school, might not have any barriers. That it usually wouldn't be a big deal for one to take a shower while the other one was using the bathroom. ...I mean imagine what has happened with Lucy over the years. You could expect times where she needed some help, or where Annie hurt herself maybe. They are also probably used to being examined because of their powers. Annie was thrown out of her normal routine when she noticed that Lucy had stopped and was staring at her. She was instead used to Lucy just going about her business.
Yeah, Annie is too small here. Whenever she's been out of the comic for a while I always under-expect her size. When she's drawn correctly, it looks like it's too much. I must have accidentally followed my natural instinct. The correct way is to start to drawn her like this and then notice that she's too small and make her larger.
