Like Mother, like Daughter...

I was curious what Tifa Lockheart's mother might look like, so I drew this quick picture. She died when Tifa was pretty young (I don't remember if it mentioned what killed her), she didn't have a name, and I think it only mentioned her in passing. It never actually showed her. (If I remember correctly on some of this) I don't think she would have been older than 30 at the most.

I think it might look too much like the way I draw Tifa in the face (although that didn't seem like a problem until I added color). I tried considering different eye and hair color combinations to make her look a little different. But I thought Tifa would probably share either the eye or hair color with one of her parents, so I expected her mother needed to have either Tifa's eye color (red) or hair color (brown). This is a somewhat red-headed, red-eyed version of Tifa's mother.

I picked the name "Helen" because her home town seems so traditional. Helen Lockheart sounds kind of nice.

I'll gauge if I should plan for her to look less like Tifa based on how many people confuse this with being a picture of Tifa, instead of her mother.
